We all enjoyed the laugh at the determined Kenyan man who was going to build an airplane out of 2×4′s and a Toyota engine last year.
But we were fortunate to run across a video that has an even earlier release date, and trumps any aeronautics programs. Here we have the Congolese space program in which they attempt to launch a rat into space. Unfortunately, the rocket doesn’t fly true and blows up on a hillside not far off. They even report that the condition of the rat is unknown.
The above videos are examples of the plain truth on the condition of the black African. And now for a video that is true satire.

The state of Africa? The toyota engine plane did fly, and despite the fact that the rat never entered space, it was still a worthy effort.

If you have any footage proving the plane did fly, I’d love to see it. Although I highly doubt it ever flew, I’d just love to witness the landing.
